Resting...

Hi Folks! I'm taking a rest from this busy day swimming in the bay at Blackie's Pasture, one of my fave places to go with my dad. I'm resting because tomorrow morning, my peeps are taking me to the Cow Palace (what's that?) for a huge, but fun-show obedience workshop. I know I need to nap a bit, because my brain gets fried when I have to do those heeling patterns and my mom's still such a rookie! We'll take some pix tomorrow and let you know how it goes. Meanwhile, I'm watching the Eukanuba dog show and just cheered for the golden that came in second in sporting dogs - awesome! Happy Saturday doggies and cats and all!

Another Post! (So Soon?)

Hi and Happy Monday! For me, Mondays mean obedience. Here are some pictures of me doing what my mom's tried to teach me (with the help of Barbara, the teacher who I have a crush on) for the past year and a half! Can you believe it's taken me so long to get ready to go for my CD? Well, to make up for it, I passed my Canine Good Citizenship test after 3 months, so I don't feel too awfully bad. My mom had to learn as much (I think MORE!) than me! I'm so smart! Here are a couple of photos. I have a fun match on Sunday at the Cow Palace and then the shows will be for real (suck in breath!).

My pal, Kelsey was there too and we had a lovely laid-back afternoon at the doggie spa, getting groomed and all. I'll be sleeping great tonight after my (I hope) gourmet spa meal. My non-high-tech mompeep hopes the link works and I certainly do too! Happy weekend pups!

Fun and Games With My Friend, Terra!

Hey there! Here I am (far side) with my friend, Terra, and with my Mompeep. Terra really wants my kong bad arrrfffffgrrr!

On the way to the water hole, Terra spied a squirrel and freaked out! Yikes! So did I, but Dadpeep didn't get a picture of me, of course! We kept on fetching the kongs our peeps threw at us and we were FAST! Peeps couldn't keep up with us! When I get MY kong, I put my nose under the water and then played with it a little, just-you know - to make sure it was DEAD! I shook it a bit and then returned it to my mom or dad to throw it again (for me, of course - not for Terra, although she gets it sometimes - hah hah hah - pant).

We raced to grab those kongs and let me tell you - the pebbles are slippery and hurt our feet, but it was sure fun! Even more fun than the mud puddle I found at McInnis! I love Marinwood and I also love playing with Terra!

I've taken a little vacay and discovered a new trick. Happy New Year to you all, by the way. I've discovered a cool new trick for 2009. I bet Mom and Dad are really proud of me for thinking this one up. After chasing after my kong and other dogs at McInnis Park yesterday, Mom, as always, said, "Okay - go get water!" So I started off towards the water pump, where there's a bucketfull of cold, clean water, but this mud puddle caught my eye. I brought my kong, splashed around in this tiny "pond," and then laid down in its cool muddiness - ummmmmm. Mom looked horrified and then laughed and laughed. A friend caught me in a bad picture with her cell phone and sent it off to Mom. Here it is! Thanks a heap, Rory! I guess you all know where Mom took me next. Yup. Pet Express' dog wash, where I got the royal spa treatment - grooming and all. I hope it rains again soon at McInnis. Very cool discovery I think I made, if I do say so myself! Next time, I'll get pictures of my bath routine. Love you all - woof, woof!
